Chris Jacobs is Co-Owner of The Amsterdam, a farm-to-table restaurant in Rhinebeck, NY, and Owner of Hudson Tile Supply, a boutique "to the trade tile showroom" based in New York City. Chris’ newest role as restaurateur follows a 20-year career in a multitude of marketing, creative services and sales roles throughout the US and Canada, from high-end book publishing to overseeing a 10-person marketing communications agency. In 2010, Chris founded Hudson Tile Supply and has since worked with the country’s top architects, designers, restaurateurs and hoteliers to source and design custom tile installations. Her work can be seen at Chefs Club in Manhattan and Aspen, Rick Bayless’ Cruz Blanca Cervecería in Chicago, Wagamama locations growing across the US, Marriott’s Autograph Collection EMC2 in Chicago, W Hotels, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and Le Pain Quotidien locations throughout the country. Her tilework is also on full display at The Amsterdam, where she was instrumental in the project’s development and design. Chris resides in Rhinebeck with husband Howard, their son Dylan, and their dog Barkley.
